AxCalibur Industries

As we have already said, all AxCalibur Industries instruments come equipped with EMG active pickup systems as standard equipment. That said, we also offer you the option of using passive EMG pickups, or at additional cost your choice of Fender, Gibson, Di Marzio, Seymour Duncan, Lace, or Tom Anderson pickups. You may also opt for different pickup configurations. Contact us for pricing and information if you want something other than the standard equipment or configuration.

The AX-1

The AX-1 comes with eithr 3 single coil pickups (SSS) or 2 single coils and a dual coil humbucker(SSH) at the bridge position. All are EMG active pickups, and come with Super Switch 5-way switching and presence and expander tone controls. You can choose between the EMG "S", "SA", or "SLV" single coils, and either the EMG 81 or 85 dual coil if you select the SSH configuration.

The Arthur

The Arthur. An instrument fit for a king, comes standard with two dual coil pickups. You can choose between two 81 type, two 85 type, or one of each (81 neck and 85 bridge). Mounting rings for all AxCalibur Industries guitars are chrome, but we can upgrade to black or gold to match any other hardware upgrades. Presence and expander tone controls are standard, and we can exchange or add a PA-2 boost (20 db)as well as an option.

The Lancelot

The Lancelot comes standard with the Zakk Wylde signature pickup set, complete with EMG 81 neck and 85 bridge pickups, as well as his matched control set. We can tailor your sound through the exchange or addition of presence, expander, and boost controls.

The Merlin

The Merlin is designed to make some magic. It comes with dual coils at the neck and bridge, and a single coil in the middle position. You get two EMG 89 pickups that can be split into single coils, plus you choose between an EMG "S", "SA", or "SLV" for the middle. Push/pull pots and your chioce of presence, expander, or boost.

The Modred

The Modred, Arthur's evil bastard son comes ready to rock with the Kerry King signature EMG set complete with 81 neck, 85 bridge, as well as the PA-2 boost system. Tone control options are available too.

The Battle Ax

The Battle Ax is equipped with an arsenal that consists of three EMG 89 dual coils that can be split into an array of single coils, plus the PA-2 boost, presence, and expander controls are all standard.

The Galahad

The Galahad comes with your choice of either of two matched Tele style pickup sets. You choose between either the EMG "T" set with Alnico magnets, or the EMG "TC" set with ceramic magnets. Both sets are a great choice for any Tele styled instrument, and will definitely cut through the mix. Once again, you have the option of presence and/or expander controls if you desire.

The Gawain

The Gawain comes loaded with a pair of EMG 60A pickups that will give you a warm, full sound that will definitely setyou apart from the crowd, while still retaining enough output to carve through when you need to. Presence control is standard, and expander is optional. Blues to jazz, Bach to rock, Santana to swing, this is one sweet setup.
